Who is Sherman Crouch?
Singer/songwriter/musician Sherman Crouch is a life-long resident of Indiana in the USA with almost 400 original songs covering many genres including Acoustic, Christian, Country, and Rock. Sherman has been writing and performing his songs on guitar and piano since 1972. In addition, he plays bass guitar, sax and harmonica.
Sherman's major musical influence has been The Beatles and the songwriting styles of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison, although his recent compositions have been mostly Christian as a ministry to his faith.
Like millions of kids, his life changed in January 1964. Music became a passion the moment he first heard "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles. He was hooked on the Beatles, and music, forever.
The Beatles have been his musical passion. Other musical influences have been Badfinger, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Billy Joel, the Beach Boys, Jim Croce and Chicago, Weezer, Nirvana and Green Day.
