In The End

When the day is through

    I rest my weary mind
And dream of endless pleasures
The happiness that's to be mine
It all takes time

When the night is through

I rise to greet the sun
To seek those endless pleasures
The happiness is not around
Left to be found

Searching for the truth
Hidden among the lies
One day I'll see the light
And watch the justice rise

When the world is through

I'll know which way to turn
To find my endless pleasures
The happiness to have my friend
In the end in the end in the end

You Can't Make It Without

You can't make

    an ocean without water
You can't make

    a forest without trees
You can't make

    a friend without strangers
You can't make

    a stranger out of me

You can't take

    a baby from its mother
You can't take

    the secrets from the sea
You can't take

    a stand without believing
You can't take

    your love away from me

Like a bright light shining on the sea
Your love shines the way for me
Like a far star shining in the night
Your love makes me feel alright

You'll never get

    old until tomorrow
You'll never get

    anything for free
You'll never be

    happy without love
You'll never be

    lonely with me

Confessions

Since I've opened up my eyes
I can see things

    I've never seen before
Since I've opened up my heart
I can see that

I've grown to love you more
Love you more love you more

Since I've opened up my mind
I can feel that I now understand
Since I've opened up my soul
I can feel

when you take me by the hand
By the hand by the hand

I've never seen myself this way
I've said it all
I've got nothing more to say
Except I love you I love you

Since I've opened up inside
I can know

how to be a better man
Since I've opened up to you
I can know

that you'll take me as I am
As I am as I am

What Will You Do

What will you do

    when your friends have gone

there's no one left but you
What will you say

when your friends have left you

    and you are feeling blue
Will you think about

    the times you shared

    or realize they never cared
What will you do

    when your friends have gone

    will you sigh

What will you do

    when your love has gone

and left you on your own
What will you say

when your love has left you

    the only one you've known
Will you want to have

    another chance

or say goodbye to sweet romance
What will you do

    when your love has gone

    will you cry

I don't know what would happen

    if time should fade away
When there is no tomorrow

    there's only yesterday

What will you do

    when the world has gone

    and left you feeling down
What will you say

when the world has left you

    with no one else around
Will you smile and want it all again

    or shed a tear

    for what you've been
What will you do

    when the world has gone

    will you die
Now what will you do

    when the world has gone

    will you die

Time Slips Away

Without reason without cause
Change of season just because
Passing quickly day to day
Before you know it time slips away

Growing older getting wise
Understanding realize
Moving ever in a daze
I can feel it as time slips away

All of life’s pressures causing stress
Too much to handle under duress
Take it slow will help I guess
But still there’s little time

Wanting so bad to be with you
And you seem to want it too
Better hurry better stay
Take me now before

     time slips away

Time slips away slips away time

I'm Waiting

It's hard when you

    have to wait for someone
When you have

    a million things to say
Time seems to drag

    emotions to sag
And nothing seems to ever

    go your way

It's hard when you sit

    and wait for something
When you have

    a million things to do
You want it so bad

    it's making you mad
And no one seems to

    realize but you

And here I am again I'm waiting
Waiting for my life to turn around
But no matter how long

    you'll still find me here
Waiting for the

    best love that I've found

It's hard when you wait

    and wait for someday
When you have

    a million things to be
Life still goes on until life is gone
And no one seems to realize but me

And here I am again I'm waiting
Waiting for my life to turn around
But no matter how long

    you'll still find me here
Waiting for the

     best love that I've found

But no matter how long

    you're still find me here
Waiting for the

    best love that I've found

By The Love Of God

It don't take much to see
The things He made

    for you and me
It don't take much to know
That things like us

    need love to grow

I thought I had it made
Till I was lost and so afraid
I thought I had it all
Till I was down and took a fall

Everything I've ever had
Everything I've ever done
Everything I'll ever see
Everywhere and everyone

All the riches in my life
All I am and all I'll be
Is only by the love of God
A love for you and me

I never thought I'd see
The day I'd find

    such love for me
I never thought I'd find
Such peaceful heart

    and soul and mind

I can't believe the change
My thoughts my actions

    not the same
I can't believe how I'll
Have love eternal when I die

Everything I've ever had
Everything I've ever done
Everything I'll ever see
Everywhere and everyone

All the riches in my life
All I am and all I'll be
Is only by the love of God
A love for you and me

Heaven Bound

Heaven bound heaven bound
I once was so lost

    but now I'm found
Jesus is my Saviour

    tell it all around
My Lord almighty

    I'm heaven bound

I was born a sinner

    just the same as you
Never cared about

    religion or the truth
Then one day I found out

    Jesus is the Way
Help me make it Lord I pray

Always told the story

    but I never heard
Now I read the Bible

    hungry for the Word
Jesus said repent

and go and sin no more
I've found the eternal door

Heaven bound heaven bound
I once was so lost

    but now I'm found
Jesus is my Saviour

    tell it all around
My Lord almighty

    I'm heaven bound

If you still wander

    can't find your way
I'm here to tell you

    to kneel down and pray
Ask for forgiveness

    then go forgive
And in Christ you must live

Heaven bound heaven bound
I once was so lost

    but now I'm found
Jesus is my Saviour

    tell it all around
My Lord almighty

    I'm heaven bound

Heaven bound heaven bound
I once was so lost

    but now I'm found
Jesus is my Saviour

    tell it all around
My Lord almighty

    I'm heaven bound

My Lord almighty

    I'm heaven bound
My Lord almighty

    I'm heaven bound

Jesus Is

There are times

    I feel so deserted
Like my life

    is passing me by
All my friends

    have gone on without me
Left alone to lay down and die

Then I remember

    the One who loves me
Whenever I am feeling like this
He's the only One

    the Father's Son
My Jesus is

Jesus is always beside me
Jesus is the One who died for me
And I pray that He knows

    that I am His
I want the world to know

    my Jesus is

I believe the Word of the Father
And the love that He has for me
Do my best

    to keep His commandments
Even though

    I sometimes can't see

Then I remember

    the One who loves me
And the promise of eternal bliss
He's the Sovereign One

    His will be done
My Jesus is

Jesus is always within me
Jesus is the One

    who walks with me
And I pray that He knows

    that I am His
I want the world to see

    my Jesus is

Jesus is always beside me
Jesus is the One who died for me
And I pray that He knows

    that I am His
I want the world to know

    my Jesus is

I want the world to know

    my Jesus is

I Do For You

It seems like

    I've heard it all before
You never know

    what's behind each door
One closes

and a part of you will end
But soon another opens and then

You find your life is better now
It makes you stop

    and wonder how He knew
Jesus I don't understand

but everything I do I do for You

I think I've been

    down this road before
I give and take but take even more
That's not how I want my life to be
But somehow

the world takes hold of me

I know that's not the way to live
To plant a seed

you've got to give what's due
Jesus help me understand

so everything I do I do for You

I pray to God

that I may know the truth
Jesus help me live my life for You
Lord help me know

    what I should do
And give me strength

to find my way to You

And as the years

    keep passing slowly by
I pray that I will live until I die
And follow the path You laid for me
By being all You made me to be

Someday may I see Your face
For Heaven is my final place

    it's true
Jesus I will understand

and everything I do I do for You

Jesus let me understand

that everything I do I do for You

Rich Man

There was a time

when I thought that I had alot
I was so proud of all that I'd got
Never wanted to share

    all that was mine
Just wanted more and more

    all I could find

Then the Lord came to me

    and answered my prayers
Showed me how to be rich

    I wasn't aware
Now I'm poor in a worldly

    material way
But I'm such a rich man

    in a spiritual way

The word of God says

to share all of your stuff
You gotta give it away

    and you'll have enough
It used to be so hard

    to understand
Thought I was happy

    with riches at hand

Then the Lord came to me

    and opened my eyes
Took from me my money

    and even my pride
Showed me how to live

    in an obedient way
Now I'm such a rich man

    in a spiritual way

I'm such a rich man

    I have all I need
Never again to have envy or greed
I'm such a rich man

    with all that I own
Gonna follow my Savior

    till he calls me home

Don't Let Me Go Back

I remember when I thought of life
As just another game to play
Nobody could tell me anything
You know I'm not the same today

I used to be a fool for many things
Things I couldn't understand
But as I grew older everything
Seemed to fit into the plan

Now I'm finding different pleasures
And one of them is you
Don't let me go back to the way I was
Show me how to make it through

It seems to me I grew up overnight
Even though I've just begun
Nobody ever really needs to stop
Until they're clear of everyone

And in my future years I'm gonna try
To learn about the ways of man
And in my journeys

    I hope you'll be there
I'll learn to love you if I can

Now I'm finding different pleasures
And one of them is you
Don't let me go back to the way I was
Show me how to make it through

To The East

Well I've told you before

    not to do any more
But you never listen to what I say
As you push and you shove

for the ones that you love
But it doesn't help you anyway

If you look in your mind

I am sure you will find
That you've found

    what you've been looking for
You've discovered your fate

but you found it too late
And now you'll be able

    to do no more

And you must leave your home

to the East you must roam
To discover who you are

    what you are and why

And then if you succeed
that is all you will need
To be on your way to dreams afar
And though some like the West

I think East is the best
To discover who you really are

Thank You

Yesterday I went away

    but luckily I didn't stay
Suddenly I realized
Once before I closed the door

but I won't close it anymore
Can't you see it in my eyes

Anything you say I will find a way
Everything I do I do for you
Anytime at all just give me a call
Every time you do I want you to

Thank you for

the way you make me feel
Thank you for

    I know the feeling's real
Thank you for

    the happiness you always

    bring my way
Thank you for

    the sunshine that brightens up

    my day
Thank you for

the way you make me feel

In a while I see a smile

that's given in a special style
Makes me want to speak my mind
Loving you the way I do and

    wishing that you only knew
Maybe someday you will find

Anywhere I go

    people seem to know
Everywhere I see

    them all around
Anyone I see

    seems to see through me
Everyone can tell

    the love I've found

All I Can Say

Every day and every way

all I can say is I love you
All day through and night time too

all I can do is to love you

I could just turn my head

    and not believe it's real
But I can't get away

from all the love I feel

Tell me no but even so

all that I know is I love you

I could just hide away

    and not believe it's true
But I can't live without

the love I feel for you

Every day and every way

all I can say is I love you
I love you

Forgive And Forget

Forgive well I thought I did it well
But it seems I’d only tell you I did
You did every time I made you cry
When I said the reasons why

you’d forgive me and still love me

But I know I done you wrong

    every time that

    you’d long just to live
But I’m here to tell you now

    that I’ve learned from you

    how to forgive
Please forgive

Forget well I’d see them in my head
All the feelings that I dreaded to get
I’d let all the silly memories
Always get the best of me

    and I’m sorry

    but don’t worry

Cause I’ve finally realized

by the sadness in your eyes

    when we met
And I’m here to tell you now

    that I’ve learned from you

    how to forget
Please forget

Please forgive me as I grow

and I won’t forget to show

    as I give
And I’m here to tell you now

    that I’ve learned from you

    how to forgive
And forget forgive and forget

Something More

Wake up each morning

    I look around
Smell each aroma

    hear every sound
See all the beauty

    surrounding me
Things just don't happen

    know there's got to be
Something more

I look inside me what do I find
An aching body a tired mind
Somebody told me

    got what you need
It didn't help me got to believe
Something more

Created the heavens

    the earth and the fire
Created man and gave him desire
To find the answer to help him grow
Gave him the wisdom

    so he could know
Something more

No need to wonder no need to fear
I got the answer got it right here
It's God the Father Jesus the Son
The Holy Spirit the Three-In-One
Something more something more
Something more something more

My Lord And My Lady

Sometimes I think

    there'll never be
That one and only one for me
'Cause I've had love

    that's come and gone
But no one's been

    that special one

Sometimes I think

    I've tried too hard
I've lost too much

    let down my guard
I thought I had to have a girl
To share my love

    to share my world

But I found out God has a plan
For every woman every man
If I'll be patient wait and see
My Lord will bring my lady to me

I've had my fun throughout my life
Three precious kids

    from my ex-wife
It wasn't good it wasn't bad
I don't think love is what we had

And since that time

    I've fooled around
And many times I thought I'd found
But I was wrong it wasn't right
And now I sleep alone at night

But I found out God has a plan
For every woman every man
If I'll be patient wait and see
My Lord will bring my lady to me

In A Moment

Born in a moment

    time long ago
Live for a lifetime

    till you must go
Look to the heavens

    where you can be
Free from the burdens eternity

Think for a moment

    what have you done
Find in your mem'ry

    search for the One
Tell to the mountains

    rivers that flow
Seek for direction

    then you will know

Hear what I tell you

    don't tune me out
Love is the answer

    spread it about
Laugh with the living

    mourn for the dead
Jesus is coming

    heed what He said

I Will Be

My Lord I come to You
'Cause I don't know what to do
I've lost my way so confused
And I feel like a pawn being used

My Lord I pray to You
Give me wisdom strength and truth
Show me the way I should go
I believe in my heart that You know

I can do all things through You
Help me be what You want me to
Let me see Your plans for me
And I will be

My Lord I praise Your name
Take away my hurt and shame
Help me to be a man
And I promise to do what I can

Show me the way I should go
I believe in my heart that You know

I can do all things through You
Help me be what You want me to
Let me see Your plans for me
And I will be
I will be

In The Lost And Found

There was a time so long ago
So many things I didn't know
I thought that I was doing fine
Lost in my world of me and mine

But then You came

    and made me see
It's all for You and not for me
And now I walk

    the hallowed ground
You'll find my soul

    in the lost and found

When I was young I had no cares
So innocent so unaware
And as I grew I changed inside
Replaced my youth

    with grown-up pride

I shunned the truth

    I turned away
But thanks to You

    I'm back to stay
And now I walk

    the hallowed ground
You'll find my soul

    in the lost and found

I'll tell the world

    of God's sweet grace
The comfort found

    in His embrace
And now I walk

    the hallowed ground
You'll find my soul

    in the lost and found
You'll find my soul

    in the lost and found

Praise The Lord

Praise the Lord praise the Lord
Wanna praise the Lord

    all night and day
Praise the Lord praise the Lord
Gonna praise the Lord

    in every way

Praise Him for the things

    you have in life
For all successes

    and even for your strife
Praise Him when you rise

    to great each day
Especially for the people

that you meet along the way

Praise the Lord praise the Lord
Wanna praise the Lord

    all night and day
Praise the Lord praise the Lord
Gonna praise the Lord

    in every way

Praise Him for the family you love
For all the earthly things

    and Heaven up above
Praise Him when you go

    to bed at night
And ask Him for tomorrow

and a chance to do things right

Praise the Lord praise the Lord
Wanna praise the Lord

    all night and day
Praise the Lord praise the Lord
Gonna praise the Lord

    in every way

He's the reason

that you're even on the earth
Provides for everything you've had

    from your birth
So as you wander throughout

    this earthly maze
Give Him all the honor and the glory

    when you sing His praise

Praise the Lord praise the Lord
Wanna praise the Lord

    all night and day
Praise the Lord praise the Lord
Gonna praise the Lord

    in every way

Gonna praise the Lord

    in every way
Gonna praise the Lord

    in every way

Come To Christ

Got a message for you

    one you need to hear
Gonna make it simple

    gonna make it clear
Ask me and I'll tell you

    even tell you twice
If you want to live forever

    come to Christ

Took some time to learn it

    but I'm glad I did
Momma told me every day

    since I was a kid
Now she's up in heaven

but I still hear her advice
She said son one thing

make sure you come to Christ

Come to Christ

    if your world is empty
Come to Christ

    if you're feeling down
Come to Christ

    if you're lost and looking

    and need to be found
After all your drink

    and all of your drugs

    and nothing has sufficed
If you're looking for the answer

    come to Christ

Now's the time to do it

    whatcha waiting for
All you gotta do is knock

    He'll open up the door
God has made it easy

    to live eternally
Have faith and read the Word

    but most of all believe

Hope you hear my message

    hope you heed this call
Forever's waiting

and you can have it all
When this earth has failed you

   once you've realized
There's a way for you to make it

    come to Christ

Come to Christ

    if your world is empty
Come to Christ

    if you're feeling down
Come to Christ

    if you're lost and looking

    and need to be found
After all your drink

    and all of your drugs

    and nothing has sufficed
If you're looking for the answer

    come to Christ

If you want to live forever

    come to Christ
She said son one thing

make sure you come to Christ

Another Year

Summer now is fading
Winter's coming round
Broken leaves are falling
To the ground without a sound
Can you hear them too

Summer loves are ending
Autumn loves begin
Children come together
Once again with their friends
Are they friends like you

And when the cold wind blows
Your love will ease the pain
And keep me warm

    through every storm
And melt the freezing rain

And when the winter's over
Spring will reappear
And nature will awaken
Another year has disappeared
Where has it gone my friend

I Won't Make It Alone

Let me try to put it into words
Let me try to tell you what I've heard
Let me tell you why I feel this way
Let me tell you what I want to say

I need your love I want your love
And I won't make it alone

Help me to decide the way to be
Help me to achieve my destiny
Help me stay within my battered mind
Help me stay among the living kind

I need you now I want you now
And I won't make it alone

It's strange when

    the whole world's against you
It's hard not to feel the hurt and pain
A man can't be helped

    if he won't help himself
So I guess I'll help myself again

Show me how

    to overcome my fears
Show me how

    to better with the years
Show me that

it's good to have a friend
Show me that

    I haven't reached the end

I need your love I want your love
And I won't make it alone

Lonely Old Man

See the man with the broken smile
If you can won't you stay awhile
When he ran he was only a child
Touch his hand

    and understand him now

See him there with the twisted grin
If you dare won't you let him in
No one cares they ignore him again
Never fear he cannot hear you now

Don't feel sorry for

    this lonely old man
Don't you worry

'cos he'll do what he can
No one cares to know

    this lonely old man
Who is he is it me oh no

See him through

    with your empty eyes
If you knew him you'd sympathize
Only you does he not realize
Turn around

looks like you've found him now

Don't feel sorry for

    this lonely old man
Don't you worry

'cos he'll do what he can
No one really knows

    this lonely old man
Who is he it is me oh yeah

White River

Well the old White River

    near my Indiana home
Well I often find that it's on my mind

    where ever I may roam
As the old White River

    rolls ever on its way
I will see that mighty river

when it carries me home someday

You should see White River

    'neath the sunny skies above
See it flowing there

    through the summer air

    like happiness through love
When I see White River

I will see how life has grown
For I know that mighty river

leads me peacefully to my home

Tear Me Down

A wise man once told me
Son live your life for you
No matter what they tell you
No matter what they do

You'll have friends and family
Keep you occupied
But you'll never be a failure
If you can say you tried

Don't believe in gossip
Until you know the truth
Don't waste your time and energy
On things of little use

Be sure to trust your instincts
But keep an open mind
For everyone is different
So seek until you find

Now there is no glass half empty
Unless you don't believe
No superstitious voodoo

    if you please
Just one light keeps on shining
He shows the way to be
No one can tear me down but me

Now there is no glass half empty
Unless you don't believe
No superstitious voodoo

    if you please
Just one light keeps on shining
He shows the way to be
No one can tear me down but me
Me me me

My Home

My home isn't home anymore
It's just a house

with some windows and a door
Since I found You all I want to do
Is be by Your side evermore

This house is a place where I stay
But both my home and my heart

    are miles away
They're there in Your heart

    it's hurts to be apart
But someday I'll come home I pray

Cause loving You

    has turned me upside down
Don't recognize my friends myself

    don't know this town
It's hard when You're

    always in my head
I'd rather make my home

    with You instead

My home isn't home anymore
It's just the place I used to live before
But I'm on my way to find a better day
And share life with You forever more

And someday there will be

a home with You for me
No longer to roam

    cause You're my home

America, You're Gonna Go Down

"One nation under God"

    the children used to say
They pledged allegiance to the flag

    and promised to obey
But now the law won't let them

    say the words that unite
What is this world coming to

when wrong says "no" to right

"In God we trust"

    our money proudly shows
But some say they're offended

    and so the evil goes
You can't mention Christ or God

    in public avenues
But evil and immoralities

    continue to abuse

"America, America,

God shed His grace on thee"
But now you turn your back on Him

    "from sea to shining sea"
Your power strength success

    and wealth

are spread from town to town
But like all the empires without God,

    America, you're gonna go down

"God bless America"

    the people like to sing
But most are apprehensive

    it doesn't mean a thing
The whole world seems to hate us

    a nation all alone
But only God can save us

    listen He calls us home

"America, America,

God shed His grace on thee"
But now you turn your back on Him

    "from sea to shining sea"
Your power strength success

    and wealth

are spread from town to town
But like all the empires without God,

    America, you're gonna go down

But like all the empires without God,

    America, you're gonna go down
Gonna go down gonna go down

(That's Why I) Trust In The Lord

Now you may think you're invincible
Immune to everything
You live your life in the fastest lane
And take in all that it brings

You're always burning your candle
From end to end as you please
You never think of tomorrow
But pretty soon you will see

That's there's more to life

    than the daily grind
If you just look

    then you're bound to find
Your future matters if you don't mind
A price that I can afford
And that's why I trust in the Lord

Your greatest wealth is material
But money can't buy you time
There'll come a day of reckoning
In both your lifetime and mine

When all the things

    we've accomplished
Won't mean that much anymore
When your success

    and your power
Won't get you

    through Heaven's door

Yes there's more to life

    than the daily grind
If you just look

    then you're bound to find
Your future matters if you don't mind
A price that I can afford
And that's why I trust in the Lord

A price that I can afford
And that's why I trust in the Lord

Resurrection Day

Long ago in the

    town of Jerusalem
Was an angry mob

    was it us or them
Took our King and they said

    that Jesus must die
I can still hear them

   screaming "crucify"

And He suffered

    death and shame
But He told us believe Him

that this was the reason He came
Thank you Jesus thank you Lord

    for Resurrection Day

Can't imagine the suffering

    and pain that He felt
Took the whips and the worst

    that the soldiers all dealt
Let them hit Him and hurt Him

    and beat Him and then
Let them hurt Him and hit Him

    and beat Him again

And He never said a word
I suppose had He tried

    that His words would have

    never been heard
Thank you Jesus thank you Lord

    for Resurrection Day

Well He died for you

    and He died for me
I'm amazed so many people

    will not see
Because He rose

    we are reborn
Give praise to God

    for that first Easter morn

And every year when I hear

    the Passion of Christ
Makes me sad to hear

    how my Saviour did die
How they mocked Him

and nailed Him hang on a tree
Now the cross is the way

    to salvation for me

In the glory to God on high
I give thanks that He sent

His begotten son Jesus to die
Thank you Jesus thank you Lord

    for Resurrection Day

In the glory to God on high
I give thanks that He sent

His begotten son Jesus to die
Thank you Jesus thank you Lord

    for Resurrection Day
Resurrection Day

All You Need Is God

You can have all the things

    that your money can buy
But in the end just the same

    you're still gonna die
You can take all you want

    and never to give
But you'll not find the way

    or the secret to live

If you look for the answer

    it's all very clear
If you open your heart

    and soul you'll hear
All you need is God

I used to have all the things

that I thought I would need
But the more that I bought

all my thoughts turned to greed
I used to measure my riches

    by all that I owned
But I soon found the way

and it's not what I'd known

When I looked for the answer

    it opened my eyes
When I opened my heart

    I soon realized
All you need is God

My God's the One

    who said follow Me
And let tomorrow be
And He said one day all men see
And worship Me on bended knee

Now I ask you my friend

    try and understand
It's what's in your heart

and not what's in your hand
Now I know the way to eternity
Is only through the Blessed Trinity

Let us look for the answers

    in the Word
Let us open our hearts

    and shout until we're heard
All you need is God

All you need is God
All you need is God
God is all you need all you need
God is all you need all you need
God is all you need all you need
God is all you need all you need

You Never Really Know (You Know)

Do you know

    where you're going to

    when the day is done
Can you see

    where you're gonna be

    when our time has come
Cause I'd hate to see

    you leave this world without

    an understanding of your fate
And unless it's clear

you better hear and know for sure

    before it's too late

Do you know

    where your soul's gonna be

    on Judgement Day
Have you found the answer

    have you found the truth

    have you found the way
Cause you have to know

    before you go and it's
    something only you can decide
So you better choose today
    know the way and forget

    your foolish pride

Better get ready better prepare
Cause your time on earth is fading

    fading fast fading into air
Don't wait a minute to make it so
Cause you know

you never really know you know

Have you sought

    know you oughtta be

    making out your plan
Have you heard

    the eternal word

    of the God of man
'Cause I'd love to tell you

all about the peace and love

    of Jesus that I've found
And I know I believe I will see

    heaven's glories that abound

Better get ready better prepare
'Cause your time on earth is fading

    fading fast fading into air
Don't wait a minute to make it so
Cause you know

you never really know you know
Cause you know

you never really know you know
